Freud once said, "Being totally honest with oneself is a good exercise." I agree. I like to do introspection exercises. From these I realise that I actually hate quite a number of people. Of cos I know it's not good to hate people. Not good to the health both mentally and physically. But then I also know that my hatred is mostly justifiable. So how?

why is harboring hatred damaging to one's physical and mental health?
Apparently it induces physiological arousal. And it doesn't make you happy. Happiness is correlated with physical and mental health.
